I think something that most people struggle with is self-love. Personally, it took years of struggling for me to even be comfortable with myself. So in today’s post, we will be talking about why self-love is important and the 10 Day Love Yourself Challenge.
Self Love is important for many reasons but I think the main one is happiness. If you love yourself and you’re comfortable with yourself then you will be much happier. I’ve come up with a 10 day Self Love Challenge to help get you on the right path of loving yourself!
Day 1: Do something you love.
This can be absolutely anything from dancing to writing.
Day 2: Write for 30 minutes.
Expressing how you feel on paper can be very relaxing.
Day 3: Have a Spa Day.
I don’t think this one needs explaining to the ladies but pampering yourself is always a good time.
Day 4: No Social Media Day.
Do not use any social media for an entire day to help unplug and notice your surroundings more.
Day 5: Look in the mirror and name 5 things you love about yourself.
Saying out loud what you like about yourself will help you reinforce that in your mind.
Day 6: Write a positive letter to 5 year old you.
Writing a letter to a younger version of you can be a great way to express the feelings you’ve kept inside.
Day 7: Take a calming bath.
Take a hot bubble bath with candles to help keep you relaxed and distressed.
Day 8: Make a jar of things you like about yourself and pull one out whenever you are feeling down.
Having a positive outlook when you’re feeling down about something is a great way to start to feel better.
Day 9: Write down a list of what you dislike about yourself.
The list can be 1 item or it can be 50 items, write as much or as little as you want. However, don’t lose the list.
Day 10: Burn the list you made on day 9.
When you burn the list it will symbolize you starting with a fresh mind about what you wrote down.
