Let’s be real here, not many of us like our postpartum bodies much less love them. With that being said, I’m here to tell you exactly why you should love that body!
Without that body, you wouldn’t have those miracles that we call children. You would have never felt the flutter of baby feet inside of you. Your body housed and protected your child for the first 9 months of his or her life. Those stretch marks aren’t ugly or gross, they are tiger stripes to represent how strong we all are as women.
When we hate our bodies it affects our self-esteem in a negative way. Hating your body doesn’t hurt anyone else but you. Think about everything you could accomplish if you loved your body though. We as women should not only bring everyone else up but we should also raise ourselves up. Our bodies come in all different shapes and sizes so to me, Healthy is beautiful.
As someone who has previously struggled with an eating disorder and also had a child, I can fully say that Healthy is beautiful.
You can’t put a weight limit on beauty.
